    Noveus Energy - Focus on Non-Energy Charges January 2019

    • Increases in wholesale costs during 2018 mean that they now represent 49% of total cost, non energy charges continue to rise.
    • The Capacity Market has been suspended following an EU court ruling – this puts payments to contacted capacity providers on hold.
    • Climate Change Levy will increase significantly on 1st April 2019 to compensate for the abolition of the CRC scheme.
