Working in an environment where there is zero option for downtime

Working in an environment where there is zero option for downtime

2bm’s technical and maintenance teams are available to support critical infrastructure and facilities across the UK. With the challenges organisations, industry and commerce face as the UK fights the virus, datacentres and comms rooms will be experiencing unprecedented levels of demand to access and store data.

A lot of data centres are located within live environments, therefore it is paramount that there is zero risk of downtime and all systems remain active so that essential work can continue uninterrupted as they deliver often critical services, analysis and research in the fight against COVID-19.

Stuart Robinson, 2bm’s Senior Project Manager, commented: “Working long, flexible hours is essential to ensure we can help manage and mitigate issues, which includes cooling and the relocation and replacement of batteries and new UPS systems.”

If you need help or support with the upkeep or maintenance of your data centre or comms room, contact 2bm.
