TeleData Reports Record Results

TeleData Reports Record Results

TeleData Commercial Director, Matthew Edgley.

24 July 2019, Manchester - Manchester data centre operator TeleData UK Ltd, has reported achieving 77% of its 2019 new business revenue target within six months, increasing cloud revenues by 28% in the same period and cementing several long term colocation contracts with well-known PLCs, within its wholly owned data centre facility in Wythenshawe.

A record pipeline value also indicates a strong H2 for the business, which is forecasting a record year after the H2 pipeline doubled during H1.

As a result, the firm has expanded its team significantly, with the technical and sales teams set to double in the next 12 months.

Commercial Director Matthew Edgley said: “This growth comes at a time of significant investment for TeleData, with over £1.8 Million being invested into resilience, energy efficiencies and cloud product development by early 2020. This will only serve to strengthen the TeleData proposition as a serious player in the thriving data centre hosting and cloud services sector. We expect H2 to be even stronger, as the full impact of our new active-active cloud platform, CloudActiv, is realised.“

Earlier this month, TeleData announced a six figure sum investment into the launch of its new cloud platform, CloudActiv. CloudActiv provides sub-millisecond replication of data between two identical cloud platforms to provide customers with truly resilient cloud hosting and effective disaster recovery of business-critical data and applications.

TeleData UK is Manchester’s only premium, independently owned data centre, providing enterprise class data centre and cloud hosting solutions to businesses across the UK.

Founded in 2007, TeleData UK provides colocation, server hosting, workplace recovery and data centre services. The firm’s solutions are designed to enable organisations to protect their applications, data and online presence from the damaging effects of downtime, and to make the most effective and efficient use of technology with secure and scalable hosting platforms tailored to business critical needs.
