NEWS - How Datacentres Helped Build the Fastest-Growing Economy in the Eurozone

Dublin: Meet the people who matter at DataCentres Ireland, the largest conference of its kind for professionals working with datacentres and mission critical infrastructures. With multiple new building projects announced around the country, cumulative investment in Irish datacentres is projected to reach €5.7 billion by the end of this year. Meet the experts leading Ireland’s data boom at DataCentres Ireland, a free two-day event bringing together an exhibition of products and services, a networking gathering and over forty panels, seminars and keynote speeches at Dublin’s RDS.

Managing Director of Ardmac Roy Millar said “Ireland’s cool climate, low corporation tax and use of key fibre connections make it attractive as a location. It also harbours an excellent construction sector and well educated workforce, providing the capability for clients to locate and operate successfully. Overall, the data centre sector sees continued growth and opportunity.”

Now is the time to find out about industry trends and best practises, and to experience the latest in datacentre products and services. The event is free to attend and features a networking drinks reception, over 85 different exhibitors, and over 56 speakers and panel chairs including representatives of the IDA, An Bord Pleanála (Irish Planning Authority) and Eirgrid.

About DataCentres Ireland: DataCentres Ireland was founded in 2012 by Stepex Ltd, a communications, publishing and exhibitions company based in the UK. Supported by BICSI Ireland, Host in Ireland, the DCA (the Data Centre Trade Association), IDA Ireland, techUK, the Green Grid and iMasons, it is the largest exhibition of its kind taking place in Ireland.
