CloserStill Media, producer of market-leading events, celebrated a new attendance record for Tech Show London and its five co-located events, with more than 22,500 attendees across two days.
Tech Show London took place on 8-9 March at ExCeL London. The award-winning exhibition and conference brought together five free-to-attend events, including Cloud Expo Europe, DevOps Live, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Big Data & AI World, and Data Centre World.
“The atmosphere at Tech Show London was electric. Exhibition stands, conference theatres, and aisles were packed full of enthusiastic business leaders and technologists,” said Alice MacGregor, Head of Marketing & Content for CloserStill Media’s Technology Portfolio in Europe. “This may well be a new golden age for physical events.”
The event broke its previous 2019 attendance record by 17%, and a large cohort of C-Levels from companies such as Amazon, AstraZeneca, Bank of England, Bloomberg, BMW, Formula 1, Google, Huawei, Metro Bank, PwC, Rolls Royce plc, Red Bull, Trainline, Transport for London, and more.
“There are so many people here who are super excited. I think Tech Show London is probably the best conference out there. In terms of getting the variety of vendors and talks, I don't think there is any competition. I would come here every year,” said Riaz Ali, the Head of BI & Optimisation at giffgaff.
All 16 conference stages featured a diverse line-up of almost 500 speakers sharing thought-provoking and inspiring ideas. Coinciding with International Women’s Day on 8 March, 75% of the Tech Show London Mainstage keynotes featured female leaders.
Attendees were invited to explore critical topics, including the technology skills shortage, responsible artificial intelligence, securing cloud infrastructures, and even achieving sustainable human presence on Mars.
“The sheer quality of speakers and enthusiasm from every audience member was a testament to the industry’s insatiable appetite to learn and share knowledge. It is joy to enable great minds and esteemed leaders from across the world with a platform for debate, new thinking, and community to drive real change,” said CloserStill Media’s Conference Manager, Renuka Jhalli.
Renowned organisations such as 10 Downing Street, BBC, the Cabinet Office, IBM, NASA, Oxfam, Sky, and the World Health Organisation were represented in the conference programme.
Tech Show London and all five co-located events will return on 6-7 March 2024 at ExCeL London. Visitors can register their interest now.
