Techbuyer, a Harrogate based Sustainable IT solutions company has achieved its 5^th star in our support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

This puts us in esteemed company with only 21 of over 4,000 companies globally having achieved this, and only the 5^th Technology company to do so.

We started in 2019 choosing targets relating to health and wellbeing, quality education and responsible consumption.

Since then we’ve:

• Achieved £2.8m in savings for educational institutions and £1.6m for health care organisations.
• Diverted over 2.9m kg of Technology from landfill
• Promoted sustainable business practices to 4,259 companies

Our most recent action saw us partnering with York University to host a webinar. Students from the school of Business and Society organised and created a presentation on the importance of the SDGs for a selection of our suppliers.

After seeing this work evidenced the “Support the Goals” governing body decided to award us our 5^th Star.
