When Global Forces Align: iMasons Names CNet Training as Global Training Partner

Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), the global non-profit, professional association for the digital infrastructure industry, has announced a strategic alliance with CNet Training (CNet), appointing the organization[SPPMC1]  as Global Training Partner.

As the world leader in technical education for the digital infrastructure industry, CNet shares iMasons passion for education and lifelong professional development. This announcement reinforces CNet’s work with the iMasons in driving forward this message and a shared commitment to encourage technical professionals across the industry to connect, grow and give back.

CNet’s CEO, Andrew Stevens, already plays a role within the iMasons education committee, whose mission it is to increase the flow of talent into digital infrastructure industries. The committee’s main objectives are to make high-quality education programs accessible through scholarships and by developing a digital infrastructure job ladder, which will provide clarity around how to enter the industry and the career progression pathways within it.

Scholarship funding is available for pre-qualified degree and certification programs, including CNet’s portfolio of technical education programs. The scholarships are providing a springboard to help inspire the next generation to enter the industry, whilst also helping to plug the skills gaps within it. One of iMasons' goals is to award at least 50% of scholarships to under-represented groups, in order to increase diversity and inclusion across the industry.

The Global Training Partner status will also provide a portal for any industry professional to reach out to CNet to gain first-hand advice and guidance regarding knowledge progression, official certifications, qualifications and the best routes to enhance team knowledge and individual career prospects.

Jeff Omelchuck, Executive Director at iMasons, says, “We are delighted to announce this strategic alliance with CNet Training and name them as Global Training Partner. Trusted by international organizations and individuals to provide professional knowledge and education across the world, CNet is well-placed to share knowledge and expertise with iMasons members, whether they are new to the industry or seasoned professionals.”

Andrew Stevens, CEO of CNet, said: “CNet has been working alongside iMasons for many years, and I’m proud to be a member of the iMasons Education Committee. iMasons do fantastic work at uniting the global digital infrastructure industry with a shared focus on education, diversity, inclusion and development. CNet’s programs have been part of the iMasons scholarship scheme for several years and have proven to be highly successful in offering individuals the opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills, at all levels.”

He continues, “We are delighted to be named as iMasons’ Global Training Partner and look forward to working closely with their members, helping them to broaden their knowledge and achieve their career goals.”

For over 26 years, CNet has been delivering technical education programs that award industry-recognized certifications and qualifications. A significant part of CNet’s history is the development of The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework which maps education programs to actual career progression routes, from entry level programs to a master's degree in Data Center Leadership and Management.

Together, iMasons and CNet will work to provide industry executives and technology professionals with the educational building blocks that they require to continue to make a better-connected world for everyone.
