In the second, British scientist Michael Faraday’s electromagnetic rotary devices formed the basis for practical electricity use. In the third, British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee invented the world wide web. UK Government.

The 4th industrial revolution is now underway and seeks to put the UK at the crest of a global wave of technological innovation, bringing the benefits to central and local government organisations and citizens alike.
