This includes proposals to increase the supply, affordability and density of new homes - this seminar will focus on the future for London’s planning framework, and its implications for the Capital’s growth, sustainability and infrastructure.
Delegates will consider what more the framework can do to help meet the needs of the Capital’s housing, transport, environment and economic development.
Further sessions will discuss what London’s local communities and businesses need from the Mayor’s final plan, and the implications for London’s social infrastructure - looking at key issues around connectivity, culture, regeneration, urban design and public health.
The seminar will bring together senior officials from the GLA and central government departments, alongside representatives from developers, investors, lawyers, consultants, business associations, local authorities, and neighbourhood groups - as well as representatives of the national and trade media.
